I was good today.
I promised myself every night this week that I was NOT going to work late on Friday. So at 5:00 I shut down my computer and walked out the door.
There was a small group of coworkers meeting at the regular pub for drinks. As a treat I ordered a cheese burger to go with my pint of Guiness. After the week I had it was the best burger I've ever tasted.
I still need to go in at some point this weekend and put together a report but that won't be too bad. Just pie charts, bar graphs and spreadsheets.
Maybe I'll buy myself a box of crayons and a colouring book as my next treat.
I love crayons.

I too have just got home from work (11pm) ... but its not a fair comparison - I don't work in an office (I work in an arts group - I don't want to declare it as I have no desire for people in this business to get wind of my blog!!).
Anyway, today was frustrating and annoying and I was lost in the dark in American suburban mall sprawl for a good hour getting pissed off majorly!!
however your burger looks SOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!! I can almost smell it and imagine sinking my teeth into it (minus the bun as I'm allergic to gluten..).
Hope you get your crayons!!
